Sunrise and Shine!

I usually do my grocery shopping very early in the morning and was enjoying the sunrise as I was loading the grocerys into my car! Totally Awesome!

I Found A Church I Like!!!!

A Little time ago now my Friend Andi sent me her testimony and it was inspiring to me. Well here is a small testimony from me. I hope that she gets a chance to read this. Years ago I grew up in a church in Ladd's Addition and it was home to both my sister and me. When I got my good job that I have now, for many years I was unable to go to church because I had to work on Sundays. During all those years of being unable to go, my church split up and I was very sad to hear that it did. It was like a breakup of family. Half my friends went one way and the other half went another way.

Well for a few months I have been attending a church in Milwaukie but it just lost it's pastor for personal reasons and my husband said that it has had several pastor changes over the years.

In my heart I have been wanting to try 2 churches that were recommended to me by someone who helped me through some difficult times in my life and I finally decided to give it a try and I really like it. In fact today I am going to the Saturday women's bible study class.

So far it feels right to me and I sure hope that my family will like it too because I would like to make it my home for my faith.

Well that is my little testimony that I wanted to share...

I Need My Coffee A Little Stonger Than That!!!!!

Friday I traded a the early, early train, it's called the sweep train where I get to check the tracks and make sure everything is normal. Well when I get up I am basically on autopilot for the most part and when I looked at my coffee pot after it finished brewing ARRRRRRGH! Yikes time to redo it gotta have my Seattle's Best!!!!!!!

Pretty Fall Colors

On my way home in what I call the "backwoods" way home, I saw these beautiful trees in their fall colors! Was a wonderful sight to see.

The Meaner Wiener in Hillsboro

I was really hungry one day and at my layover in Hillsboro I decided to try one the Meaner Wiener's hot dogs! It was sooo good! I can't remember the name of the hot dog they used but I loved it! I had him put cheese and cabbage on it! Never would have thought to do that myself but it was awesome!

Paaaaaleeeeeeeze It's Not Even Halloween Yet!

The one thing that I do hate about Christmas is that it has become sooo commercialized, it isn't even Halloween yet and they already have Christmas stuff out in the stores! I remember when I was a little girl they didn't put stuff out until after Thanksgiving. Now with the way things are I am so sick of seeing Christmas stuff by the time Christmas rolls around!

I have been coming up with some pics and ideas for my blog and will try to add more than I have been. I have been so tired lately, I think my thyroid meds need adjusting. I saw my specialist yesterday so I should know shortly if they need to be changed. I am tired too because I have been fighting a sinus infection and am on antibiotics for that.

I did a little crocheting and watching some of my "Chick" movies as my husband calls it! tee hee, I LOVE chick flicks!!!!! I have been trying to read alot of my books that I have had for a long time and just hadn't had the time to read them. I go through spurts on my different hobbies that I like to do, makes for a good variety. One of these days I will have seen all the movies that I have in my collection! So many movies, so many books, so many crafts and so little time! It will all get done eventually!
